Step 1 : Decide and take acton.

Decide and understand the careers of iOS developers

Why : Most of the companies rely on mobile apps, because of the high demand in market and high salaries.

Many of us do create something we are proud of , that makes a difference in the lives of many people .
For example all of a sudden if something unusual happens then most of the production stops .
Corona Virus itself . If you can see the situation right now.
the apps got developed and deployed . For everyone who use mobile , apps are that much important equally.

Step 2 : Develop.

So, after deciding to be an iOS developer it definitely requires certain skills and personality traits like learning the basic language for developing iOS apps which is Swift and IDE tool is Xcode. Stick to basics and everything follow up with your experience and environment respectively.
Development phase could be most toughest for any developer. I’ve a theory for Any software Engineer . Wolf work culture for the first four years then the next 40 years you can create your own work culture . Either you can start a new organisation on your own or become lead in reputed organisation whatever it is the ball is in your court. Hardwork pays off. :)
Note: know other platforms like android and hybrid as well to keep the track of market demands and you will definitely need to acquire other skills to be at the top of your game.

Step 3 : Deploy.

Deploy for me is Marketing yourself.
Deliver all the learned skills in Deploy phase.
Maintain and deploy all the projects GitHub account.
Market yourself by maintaining a great eye catchy resume.
Follow job portals regularly . I would personally recommend to use LinkedIn, Angelist

I usually follow the below sites for my references

https://medium.com/ios-os-x-development
https://www.raywenderlich.com
Udemy for basics by Angela.
Last but not least Developers Bestfriend StackOverflow. :D

Conclusion : Follow these 3 steps and become an iOS Developer. Progarmming is not typing the code but it is what you think and how you think. After you become expert in one skill you should definitely expand you knowledge on other skills of software development because life is a continuous learning.
